Lane Keeping Assist
Lane keeping assist is an available safety feature in the new Forte designed to take some of the stress out of highway driving. If you begin to drift out of your lane without signalling, the system will alert you and correct the vehicle’s course if corrective action is not taken. Driver attention alert goes even further, by audibly alerting drowsy or distracted drivers when ongoing corrections have been needed.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
The available Forward collision-avoidance assist system in the new Forte helps you to avoid or mitigate the damage of a frontal collision. Using a camera on the front bumper and a camera on the windscreen monitor, the vehicle constantly scans the horizon for other vehicles.
Smart Cruise Control
With available Smart cruise control, your Forte continuously monitors the vehicle ahead and adjusts acceleration as needed to maintain a safe distance.
